BROWN Lawrence Glenn Brown was born on July 5, 1950 in Gallipolis, Ohio. His family moved to Upper Arlington when he was seven years old. He graduated from UAHS in 1968, and then attended Moorehead State University in Kentucky. He obtained an associate degree in Nutrition and then had jobs in three different restaurants in Alabama and Illinois. After a few years, he returned to Columbus and worked for Meals on Wheels. In the last several years he was overwhelmed by illness; however, he placed a good of time into community services. Larry passed away on May 30, 2008 at OSU Hospital East. His family members who have been with him through his life and his ten month hospitalization are: significant other, Michael Koza; parents, Charles and Patsy Brown; daughter, Patricia Collins; siblings, Patricia and Richard Vesper, Sue and Steve Richards, Rick and Jeannie Brown; nieces and nephews, Dustin Richards, Michael Richards, Kelsey Vesper, Kyle Vesper, Laura Brown, and Ian Brown. Arrangements handled by the Pfeifer Funeral Home. The memorial service for Larry is to be held at St. Sebastian Cathedral at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2008. St Sebastian Cathedral is located at 4313 Alkire Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43228. Online condolences available www.pfeiferfuneral.com.
