All Press Registration Can Now Be Submitted Online -

Working Press Registration - Media registration for The Reformed Catholic Church Fall 2008 Synod is complimentary to accredited media, which includes reporters, editors, and photographers affiliated with recognized broadcast, print or Internet media organizations who intend to cover the events of the Fall 2008 Synod. A limited number of press passes will be issued at the discretion of The Reformed Catholic Church media relations staff. We strongly encourage media representatives to pre-register online.

Press Registration

To request a press pass for The Reformed Catholic Church Fall 2008 Synod fill out the Press Request Form.

Please note: Press Passes for Fall 2008 Synod are limited, and are granted only to working journalists who intend to cover the event. The Reformed Catholic Church Fall 2008 Synod reserves the right to screen all registration requests, including on-site registrations, and to refuse to register individuals for a press pass. Press Passes will only be given to accredited/qualified editorial staff for print, broadcast or on-line publications, and to assigned freelance journalists. In order to qualify for a press pass to Fall 2008 Synod you must provide the conference organizers with proof of credentials such as: a valid press ID issued by a recognized press association or organization, an assignment on company stationary, and copies of recent articles, etc.

A Fall 2008 Synod Press Pass entitles you to admission to the pre-conference seminar, all conference sessions, and any on-site social events. It does not include other meals or accommodations.

If your request for a Press Pass is approved, you will receive an email from the conference registrar. Please do not assume that your request will be approved. The Reformed Catholic Church will not approve all requests, and will not be responsible for any costs incurred by applicants or attendees.

Media Credential Guidelines

With One Voice: The 2008 Fall Synod

Media credentials are given to members of the working media whose attendance at the Fall 2008 Synod may result in coverage, whether print, radio or broadcast. Media members may be required to submit credential information to support their qualifications.

Eligibility: Applications for credentials will only be considered from representatives of:

Daily newspapers as well as wire and news services

National or international news magazines

Local radio and television networks

National radio and television networks

Recognized news Internet sites updating news content daily

Individuals Who Do Not Qualify for Media Credentials: Individuals representing companies or organizations listed below do not qualify for media registration.

Book authors

Companies/organizations producing publications, videos, and/or other items solely for the purpose of marketing, advertising, financial analysis, or public relations

Consultants

Freelance writers who are employed by non-news organizations

Independent Blog Writers

Independent Podcasters

Public relations staff and/or representatives from communications, print, and on-line promotion organizations

Publishers, associate/assistant publishers, advertising, marketing, or sales staff members of a news organization, print, broadcast or online

Other representatives who are not reporting on the annual conference itself

You may be contacted by the Media Relations Staff and asked to provide supporting documentation to receive your media credentials. All media notifying the Media Relations Staff in advance will receive confirmation of their registration. Media registering on-site for the annual conference must bring documentation to receive media credentials. Misuse of credentials will result in an automatic loss of press privileges.
